Thread: unable to get into ip email inbox

    Default unable to get into ip email inbox

    my ip is netzero.
    i get the opening page but when i click the inbox buttons i'm unable to get through.
    i have zonealarm security suite.
    this problem started after the last update to the zonealarm firewall.

    Try 'customizing' your netzero e-mail box. Go to your ZASS Privacy > Site List, click on the 'add' button, enter the URL for your e-mail site, then click 'ok'. Now locate the site you just entered on the Site List, right click on it and select 'options'. Next go through all three tabs to uncheck everything and click 'apply' as you go through each tab. Now clean your browser cache and try the site again.

    thank you for the tips but unfortuately i'm still having trouble getting into my inbox after doing what you said---still can only get in my inbox if i shut down security suite.
    any other ideas?

    That should have worked but if it didn't I think your ZASS database may be corrupt preventing ZASS from recognizing your customizations. Try a test if you would. Go to your ZASS Privacy > Main panel and turn off all your Privacy blocking...cookies, ads, & mobile code. Now clean your browser cache and try your mail box again with ZASS running but with all Privacy off. If you can get in now, then reset your ZASS database. Reset the database this way; you will lose your customizations and will need to reconfigure Zone Alarm.

    1. Boot your computer into the Safe Mode. {Instructions if needed}
    2. Navigate to the c:\windows\internet logs folder.
    3. Delete the backup.rdb and iamdb.rdb files in the folder.
    4.Reboot into the normal mode.

    Now adjust your Privacy settings to the way you want and customize your mail box in your Privacy >Site List like I first suggested. Did that work?
