    Default Windows Update page no longer loads

    I get the following message when I try to access Windows Updates.
    I do not get the message when I disable ZA
    [Error number: 0x80072F76]The website has encountered a problem and cannot display the page you are trying to view. The options provided below might help you solve the problem.

    I am running ZA 6.5.737.000

    Operating System:Windows XP Home Edition
    Product Name:ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite
    Software Version:6.5

    First you need to use Internet Explorer as Windows Updates demands Active X and firefox and opera doesn't support those.Than go to tab privacy main and disable all main privacy features,cookie control, ad blocking and mobile code control,turn them all off.Clean the browser cache and try again.

    Also make sure the BITS service is running. BITS stands for Background Intelligent Transfer Service and must be running for Windows Update to work. To see if its running click Start/Run and type service.msc in the box then click OK. If its not running, start it then try update again.
