Default Problem with ZA after update

I couple of weeks ago ZoneAlarm did a automatic update, and now it won't allow outlook express, MSN Messenger, Internet Explorer, etc. to access the internet.
It doesn't even ask if they can it just doesn't allow it.
And they are all still on its allow list.

I did a completely uninstall and then re installed it and went through the torturial and reset it back up last night.
When I used these programs for the first time it asked and I said allow and remember. And they are back on the list. When I was done I put the computer to sleep and went to bed.
When I got up this morning I woke the computer up and tried to check my e-mail with outlook and nothing, it said it couldn't connect, tried connecting MSN Messenger nothing couldn't connect, tried opening a web page and nothing.
So I turned ZA off and opened all three of these and they hooked up fine.
Then I can turn ZA back on and access them fine but it has to be after I have access to them the first time.
    Any ideas would be appreciated.
    Thank you for your time.
    Susan

Try what I suggested in this thread and see if it works.
