    Default Network problems

    Hi everybody
Just trying to set up a wired network between 2 pcs. Both running XP Pro, Mozilla and ZA 6.5.737
pc "A" has USB modem. In ZA Firewall Zones the Network card is shown as Internet zone.WAN, Loopback and pc "B" are Trusted zones.
pc B shows the Network card as Internet Zone. WAN, Loopback and pc "A" are Trusted.

File and printer sharing works fine for both pcs. Network Connections on pc "B" can see the modem and says it's 'connected'. But I can't access the internet unless I close ZA on pc "A"

    What have I done wrong??

    Cheers

    Operating System:Windows XP Pro
    Product Name:ZoneAlarm (Free)
    Software Version:6.5

It seems from your post that you are trying to set up ICS with computer A being the server and computer B the host.If this is the case the problem is that ZAFree doesn't support ICS (only if you put internet zone security at medium which it's not advisable as you stay visible in the internet or using a proxy). The solution is to upgrade to ZAPro or equivalent to have the advanced settings or even better get a router and you can use ZAFree in both computers.
    Best regards
