Default outlook express - send & recieve

Hi,
I installed ZoneAlarm free edition. My OS is Windows 2000, and i'm using Outlook Express 6.
When
I execute the program it tries to syncornize with my (distance) mail server (POP), send and recieve mail, but i get the following error massage:
The connection to the server has failed. Account: 'pop.012.net.il', Server: 'pop.012.net.il', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10061, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E
My mail account is defined, and worked just fine till I install ZoneAlarm.
Thanks
in advanced for any help.
Eran.

Try adding your DNS servers to the trusted zone in ZA. There are instructions on my site.
My homes are SpywareHammer.com and DonHoover.net and BleepingComputer.com

hi Hoov,
Thanks for your replay.
Unfortunately it didn't solved the problem.
I didn't mention that I add the outlook express as a trusted program (client and server).
Thanks

I am having a similar problem. It was working fine, with ZoneAlarm Security Suite installed, and then my hard drive crashed and I've just reinstalled everything on a new hard drive. I can receive emails OK but sending them I get the message

An unknown error has occurred. Subject '', Account: 'lineone', Server: 'SMTP.lineone.net', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Error Number: 0x800CCC0B
Any ideas?
