    Default AIM Express can't logon

I'm using ZoneAlarm Pro 6.5.722 on my laptop (XP Pro SP2).
But I want to access AIM Express using IE 6.0.
I can enter my name and password and then the browser attempts to log on ....... over and over again until it gives up.
I have fiddled with Privacy - Site List, but can't figure out what is causing the problem.
I know it's ZAP cause when I exit ZAP I don't have any problems.

I'm not this question is in the right section but would appreciate any help I can can so that I can run AIM Express.
    Thanks.

See if this fixes the problem. Go to your Zone Alarm Pro Privacy > Site List, click on the 'add' button, enter my.screenname.aol.com then click 'ok'. Now locate the site you just entered on the Site List, right click on it and select 'options'. Next go through all three tabs to uncheck everything and click 'apply' as you go through each tab. Now clean your browser cache and try the site again.

Yes, I have already done that, but no luck.
    I have also added:
    www.aim.comwww.aimexpress.com
    and allow everything.
    None of these helps.

    Any more ideas?

Test something if you will. Go to your Privacy > Main panel and turn off all main Privacy blocking and then try the site again. Let me know what happens.

When I do as you suggest (moving Cookie Control to OFF, and Ad Blocking to OFF), AIM Express loads fine.
However, then I when step by step and checked every setting again in ZoneAlarm.
    Ooopppps!

In Privacy - Site List - www.aim.com, while all cookies were set to allow, right click, options, Ad Blocking tab, the three boxes for Ads to Block were still checked.
Clearing those makes everything work fine.
I feel foolish as this problem has been lingering for a couple weeks, just because I couldn't remember where to click.
    Oh well.

    Thanks for your help.
I appreciate the time you gave me.
