Here's all my comp info:
Computer Name: Toshiba Satellite
Model No: 2415-S205
OS: Windows XP Home
Processor: Intel Pentium 4, 1.6 ghz
On board RAM: 512 mb
Video card: NVidia GeForce4 420 Go
Video RAM: 16 mb (sadly)
I connect to the internet on a DSL connection through a router.
My default browser is Firefox although I still use IE 7 for a few things.
I close the lid of my laptop to put it in standby. If I leave it in standby for at least a few minutes when I turn it on again it says the local area connection is connected again. I've investigated the connection properties but see no problem. However, I cannot access any web pages or connect to my instant messenger. I know the problem is zonealarm's free firewall because when I shut it down, I can access webpages and my IM, and when I startup zonealarm again, I can't. The only way to access webpages and my IM after coming out of standby with zonealarm on is to restart my computer. Is there any way to avoid this??
Operating System:Windows XP Home Edition
Product Name:ZoneAlarm (Free)
