    Default Intermittent Connectivity

Hi,I am having a problem with my connectivity. When I ping my router (ping -t 192.168.0.1) I get a good response for about 1 minute, then I get a "Request timed out" for about a minute, then a response again (repeated). If I turn off ZAP, everything is OK.I have deleted all programs and components from the control panel, and it is still the same.Any ideas?
    Cheers,Paul

Uhm, than I would go for a ZA database reset. Your ZA may be corrupted....http://www2.nohold.net/noHoldCust542...rruptlogs.htmland if it fails... I would try a clean uninstall:http://www2.nohold.net/noHoldCust542...n_install.htmlFax

Hi, and thanks.I was hoping that I could avoid a database reset (again!) as I have quite a few additions and exclusions to be input. This is really frustrating, as EVERY time I upgrade, I have to go through a clean install, and manually input my personal changes.
Is it just me, or are Zone Labs not listening to these groups, as I know I'm not the only one having to do this ?Sorry, rant over......

Hi!you can backup your settings and restore them afterwards.Usually backups do not get corrupted.Fax

I tried reloading a saved backup (and re-booting) but that didn't help either.I have now bit the bullet, deleted the databases etc. and
written in my changes manually. All is now working.
I just wish there was another way, or that ZAP didn't either loose settings, or corrupt settings on updates.
    Thanks for your help,
    Paul

Have you tried to reload a backup after the database reset (not just load a backup)? It usually works...Fax
