Default Roboform can't be run from browser

When I try and edit my identiies or logins from roboform in IE7, I get:Failed to run c:\Program files\Siber Systems\AI Roboform\Passcards.exe
    reason: access is denied (5),
I can double click on the passcards.exe (My computer) and all works.
Roboform tech support said:This is due to your Zone Labs software, please contact them on how to allow RoboForm and its programs to be run from a web browser, as it is currently prohibiting them.
Is this a ZA problem, and if so, how do I fix it?

    Operating System:Windows XP Pro
    Product Name:ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite
    Software Version:7.0

That makes two of us. I wrote to Roboform and here is what they said:

Eugene replied (2007/02/19 12:57 am EST):

    please upgrade to this version:

    www.roboform.com/dist/AiRoboForm-6-8-8.exe

    Please also note:

How to enable RoboForm in IE7 if it becomes disabled:

In IE7 go to Tools -> Manage AddOns -> Enable or Disable Addons.

    Enable these addons:

    - Name: RoboForm, Type: Toolbar

    - Name: RoboForm Main Module, Type: Browser Helper Object

    Note that enabling addon with

Name: RoboForm Toolbar, Type: Browser Extension does not enable RoboForm toolbar, it enables menu item in Tools that calls RF toolbar

I then followed these instructions and uninstalled Version 6.8.7 before updating to version 6.8.8.
Same problems existed. So, I uninstalled again, cleared the cache and the recycle bin, rebooted the computer and reinstalled Roboform 6.8.8.
This still has not resolved the problem. I have emailed Roboform again this morning and am awaiting a reply. I will post that repsonse here.

I cannot access any of the files from the Roboform Toolbar menu as follows without producing the stated error message:
    Options, Indentities, SafeNotes, and Passwords.

However, I can Login to sites from the Toolbar and generate passwords.
All functions work correctly from the Taskbar menu.

I tried the suggestion that the link below provides.
It is quick and easy and now I can use
RoboForm from the Toolbar without the Access Denied messages. I would also check to be sure that you have properly ENABLED RoboForm Toolbar, Helper Object and Browser Extensions if the appear in the Manage Addons window
which you will find on the
    Tools menu in IE 7.0.

(I have also had a similar problem with Adobe Reader 8.0 but have not tried it since using this fix)
