    Default Zonealarm stops firefox

I recently installed a new auto update of firefox, and now zone alarm won;t let it access the internet. IE gets through alright, and the settings for FF are the same as for IE - they are :
    Auto III Y Y Y X Y
Every time I run firefox I get an alert from ZA saying:
    Event 0 subevent 3 class 1 Kill/don;t kill
I say don;t kill and remember this decison but it does just the same.
I have tried reinstalling FF 2. I've also tried removing FF from the ZA program list as suggested in some other posts, but still no joy.
    What should I try next?

    Operating System:Windows XP Home Edition
    Product Name:ZoneAlarm Pro
    Software Version:6.0

By the way if I stop ZA altogether then firefox gets through OK, so it doesnt seem to be a FF problem

    Welcome to the Forum!

Try resetting your database and see if that will fix it. Reset the database this way; you will lose your customizations and will need to reconfigure Zone Alarm.

    1. Boot your computer into the Safe Mode.
    2. Navigate to the c:\windows\internet logs folder.
    3. Delete the backup.rdb and iamdb.rdb files in the folder.
    4. Reboot into the normal mode.

PLEASE keep me posted on your results, THANKS.
