Default Cannot access settings, cannot uninstall

I would like to access the settings on my ZA but for some reason each time i do i get a error message saying:"Validation failed for C:\WINDOWS\system32\VSINIT.dll. You probable are missing a necessary root certificate."

I am not able to acces anything ZA wise. And the firewall is still running. I can not connect to World of Warcraft and i think it is because i can not open certain required ports. How can i fix this problem? i need to either access the settings part of ZA or uninstall it, both i am not able to do at the moment.

    Operating System:Windows XP Home Edition
    Product Name:ZoneAlarm (Free)

    Hi

Try obtaining new certificates and after that try a reboot and see what happens- if the problem is fixed or not......

If the problem is still there

Open the PC in the Safe Mode or the safe boot. Open the ZA uninstaller found in the Zone Labs/Zone Alarm in the Start> All Programs.

After the reboot into the Normal Mode or normal boot, then delete all traces of theses:

    "Internet Logs" (found in C\WINDOWS)

"Zone Labs" (under your Program Files folder)

"Zonelabs" (under your Windows System32 folder)
    Empty your recycle bin

Install the ZA, download from here if needed...

Hope this helps and if you wish to do further manual cleaning of the ZA before the new install, then follow the rest of the instructions found here...

    Hope this helps.
