Default Large Downloaded Files are Corrupted

I am using the newest version of Internet Security Suite and am having a problem with large executable downloads. After downloading a .exe archive of something like Nero 7 update or the like, upon running it I get an error message that the file is corrupt in some way and then of course installation is not possible. If I shut down ZL Internet Security Security and just try to run the file it still doesn't work, BUT if I re-download it with ZL disabled it runs and installs fine. Any ideas as to why these downloaded files are being corrupted.
I have only noted this with large .exe files. I have had no trouble with large MP3 files for example. Thanks...

How big are the files when they get corrupted?

Well, I don't know the lower size limit, but I know one was 33MB and another was around 70-80MB.
