Default Returning to the computer after a while...

I seem to have this odd recurring issue every time I leave my computer running unattended either for a while after starting it up or simply after finishing with it for the night, leaving it on and then coming back to check email etc in the morning, whereby my Mailwasher and internet browsers (IE7 and Mozilla..it is non-discriminatory) cannot get access for a short while after "waking up" of the computer. I have the latest ZA and have not got the automatic lock set to on. Often to start everything rolling again, I have to shutdown ZA and then start it up again. While it is inbetween I can start Mozilla and get straight on the net no problems. I do however have Advanced Program Control enabled, if that helps.
Any ideas what is happening here? Apart from this I have no issues with ZA.

    Operating System:
    Windows XP Pro
    Product Name:
    ZoneAlarm Pro

Sometimes the DHCP or the DNS server connection is dropped and cannot be re-established after the sleep or standby is finished.

    Try this:

    1. Go to Run type in command, hit OK, and type ipconfig /all then press enter. In the returned data list will be a line DNS and DHCP Servers with the IP address(s) listed out to the side
    2. In ZA on your machine on the Firewall>Zones tab click Add and then select IP Address. Make sure the Zone is set to Trusted
    3. Click OK and then Apply for each one.
    4. The loopback must be listed as Trusted. It has the address of 127.0.0.1
5 The Generic Host Process or the svchost.exe listed in the Program list must have both Trusted and Internet access and it must have server rights for the Trusted Zone, but not the Internet Zone.

This should make sure the DNS and the DHCP are properly setup in the ZA.

Also if the hdd actually turns off during the PC time of use, the ZA will never get the network back. Once the hdd goes off, the network cannot be reassumed by the ZA.
