    Default No Access after Update

I updated an application and then it could not access the internet.
No problems if I shut down ZoneAlarm.

The .exe file was in the program list in Program Control with access allowed but the log showed it as continually being blocked.
Thinking that the .exe file in the program list was for the old version of the application, I deleted it but now can not add it to the program control list.
I do the add bit but it just doesn't add.

I can run the application no problems with ZA disabled, but this is not a good idea seeing it is a live share data program and on occasions I run it all day.
    Help would be greaqtly appreciated.
    Cheers

Well, no luck with whatever I try so the answer obviously is to scrap Zonealarm and buy a different firewall.

You're welcome!Whenever you will have time it would be good you do a clean install since resetting the database also wipe out some pre-configuration setting at install (e.g. loopback adapter inthe ZA firewall zone)Cheers,Fax
