    Default Can't access videos

    Since I renewed
    my Zone Alarm Pro subscription I can't access videos at a specific
    investment site unless I
    disable Zone Alarm.
    I had no problem accessing videos
    at this site before I renewed and updated.
    I was advised by technical support at that site that I must disable Zone Alarm to view their videos.

    Please advise what I can do to change this as I do not want to have to disable Zone Alarm at any internet sites.

    To be able to help you we need some more details, sorry. Which site and player is affected? Do any error messages appear on your screen? If so, which?

    You may consider updating to version 6.5 or 7.0 using your current license key. Check out these latest releases:

    I recently upgraded to Zone Alarm Pro 7 and this is when the problem started. The site is
    ( Media Center)
    This site requires Adobe Flash Player 10 which is
    I was told by tech support at to disable Zone Alarm when attempting to view videos here and sure enough it worked.
    There is no error message displayed, there is simply a white screen
    and no audio plays.
    This problem just developed since upgrading to ZA Pro7, never a problem previously.

    Welcome to the Forum!

    I am very sorry you are having problems with ZA and hopefully I will be able to find a solution for you.

    PLEASE make sure you turn off your Mobile Code Control under Privacy. Then try to download the file. After you have download the file, make sure you go back and turn on the Mobile Code Control.

    It is likely your Privacy settings causing the problem. The Privacy advisor can help resolve the issue and allow you to customise those sites for your use. You will need to go to the Privacy Panel and click on 'custom' in Cookie Control. Then go to the bottom and enable 'Show Privacy Advisor' click apply then ok.

    Next go to the page in question and when the Privacy Advisor alert pops up, click on "Click here for details'' and it should take you to the Site List box where you will see the entry causing the problem. The name of the entry can be found in the "Entry Detail" box at the bottom of the page. Now click on 'options' and turn off the ones that interfer with the page. You may have to try several and then refresh the page until the issue is resolved. Also clean your cache when completed

    removed the web site from the site list in Privacy and can now view videos at that web site without disabling Zone Alarm. Thanks for your help.
