Default Zonealarm blocking Nero Mediahome to Playstation 3

Zonealarm Internet Security Suite is blocking sharing with my PS3. If I uninstall ZA, I can stream files from Nero Mediahome and Windows Media Player 11 with ease. I have spent hours trying to configure ZA to allow access but nothing works. I can't figure out what is blocking it. Can anyone help me?

    Operating System:Windows Vista Home Premium
    Software Version:7.1 (Vista)
    Product Name:ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite

Has the Playstation IP added as Trusted in the Zones of the Firewall in the ZA?

Yes, I have added the PS3 IP as a trusted zone. I have tried everything I have read about, from the obvious to the obscure. Nothing except uninstalling ZA resolves the problem.

The nero has server rights for the trusted zone?

Good question. I'll verify when I get back home. One other thing I should point out is that Windows Media Player 11 is also blocked by ZA. Also, ZA never tells me that Nero or Media Player is trying to get access. I think I know Nero's IP address (the one it uses) but I don't know which Media Player is using. How do I determine that?

The WMP folder in the Program Files Folder has several components. Some of these should be in the ZA program listing. The WMP may will to have internet access as with the Nero. The IP shouldn't be required, but they should be listed in the ZA log - all of the blocked events will be listed. Just check your logs and see what is being blocked and then allow in the ZA. This method is helpful.

Both Nero and WMP are allowed in ZA Programs. There are 0 blocked attempts listed in the Firewall log. I can find nothing in ZA to indicate it is currently or has blocked Nero or WMP but I know ZA is (because the problem goes away after uninstalling ZA). Any other suggestions?

Yes, but do they have server rights for the trusted zone?
Is the playstation IP listed as Trusted in the Zones?

Yes, both Nero and WMP are listed as trusted ip addresses.

Are these listed in the Program Control list and with trusted and trusted server allowed? You may want to give these internet access.
