    Default Windows Live Messenger constantly disconnecting =(

    Hi



    I've downloaded and installed the latest version of Window Live Messenger but i still keep disconnecting.


    I've tried removing it from the Firewall's allowed programs list and re-adding it, giving it full access but i still keep disconnecting. Although i note that the 'Created Date' is 1/6/2007 even though i just installed the newest version today. Not sure if that helps.

    I also have Messenger PLUS! folders floating around the 'C' drive even though i deleted that months ago. Why is it still here

    I turned the windows firewall off.


    Also, windows messenger works fine- no disconnections.



    Can anyone help me please? I don't want to pretend like this problem isn't here.

    Is your license still unexpired? If so I suggest that you update to the newest version 7.

    OK, so i downloaded th update but everytime i try to run the setup file windows keeps telling me

    'Zesetupsuite.exe has encoutered a problem and needs to close'


    Is there something wrong with my computer?? I've downloaded the setup files more than once and it still keeps closing enuexpectadly. I also tried to run it with zonealarm turned off-same response.

    AVG antispyware+rootkit,

    Spyboy search and destroy ver. 1.5..2.0

    ZoneAlarm Security Suite version 5.1.001.000

    ZoneAlarm Security Suite version 5.1.001.000

    TrueVector version 5.1.001.000

    Driver version 5.1.001.000Ad-aware PRO(with Adwatch 2007)
    Windows XP

    Thanks for the advice, i don't get disconnections anymore.

    However i noticed on Zonealarm it says that i don' have any ant virus running? Shouldn't zone alarm pro have a antivirus?

    I've turned the antivirus monitoring on but that's all i can do.

    Zone Alarm Pro does not have anti-virus.Zone Alarm Security Suite does have anti-virus and anti-spyware.
