I'm not sure what is going on but since upgrading to Windows XP SP3 (from SP2), things have not been right.
What I have been observing is that after a short time (perhaps an hour or so) online actively surfing the Internet, eventually page requests begin to fail.
Even trivial requests to sites that I KNOW are up and active (like Google and Yahoo) begin to fail.
Coupled with that, requests to download email from my ISP also begin to fail.
If I disconnect and reconnect to my ISP (I am on low speed dial-up), the problem seems to alleviate for awhile.

I notice that there seems to be a high number of alerts in the ZA log.
I don't know if this is a higher number than I received prior to upgrading to SP3.

While I was viewing the alert log, I reconnected to my ISP and immediately got another alert.

The bottom line is that I don't know if there is a conflict between ZA (runnng ZA Security Suite 7.0.470.000) and Window XP SP3.

Just as an experiment, I am going to try installing AVG and run with ZA functions disabled to see how this affects my problem with degrading network connections.
Is anyone else out there seeing network connections impacted by Windows XP SP3?
