    Yeah, I guess plenty of ISP's will be getting calls soon, especially in the next hour or so as the US wakes up.

    I dare say a few ISP's in EU have already been contacted.

    London UK ; 11:52 am ; Advised to install new MS patches by MS UPDATER; Did what I was told to do . . And now no INTERNET access.
    I now have
    KB951748 in NEW programs.
    Not good. Not good.

    Just uninstall it (see page one of this thread) and re-boot. Ignore any further requests to install it or just turn your automatic updates off for the time being.

    London eh? I have just moved from there to Australia. I do miss London though

    zone alarm should have addressed this sooner

    Mr Kaminsky talked to Microsoft, Sun and Cisco and many others in March and has been part of a team engaged in secret research since then to develop the security patch which has now been released simultaneously.
    I would be very surprised that if Checkpoint were part of these discussions that this issue would have been alowed to occur.

    I am wondering if they were actually left out of the loop???

    Time will tell, I guess.
