Like many people posting here, this morning, I was not able to access the internet with ZoneAlarm is running. Turning ZoneAlarm off completely allows access, but this does not seem like a good idea. By trial and error, I discovered that the following settings for the ZAP firewall allow access:

Internet Zone Security - I prefer to run at High, but this now stops internet access, so changing to Medium solves the connection issue. I would prefer to go back to high, but blocks internet connections.

What are the ramifications of running on the new Medium setting rather than High like I used until today?

I really don't think the suggested fix to uninstall the latest Windows update is very workable for most people.

Where I'm at.
