Default Zone Alarm - Wireless G router problem

Just replaced my wireless G router but at different firmware level (8.00.06). If ZA Pro (7.0.462.000) up, I can't access internet but can access e-mail. ZA spyware updates take place but it can't get out to get software updates. When you do a MS diagnostic in IE, it gets out to the MS site. Sounds like a port problem but I don't know how to correct it. Zone settings contain network - 19.168.2.0/subnet mask - Internet; Loopback -Trusted; DNS server, DHCP server IP addresses from "ipconfig" - Trusted; one other IP address for 192.168.2.2 from "ipconfig" - Trusted. The security settings are all Medium as per some comments in this forum. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

    Operating System:Windows XP Pro
    Software Version:7.0
    Product Name:ZoneAlarm Pro

I reinstalled ZA with clean settings option and was able to access the internet again.

I think it may have been a IE port problem but I am not sure and I'm not going to pay to find out.

An e-mail support system recommending this
would have saved me many hours of work -
I am not a happy customer.

"Zone settings contain network - 19.168.2.0/subnet mask - Internet"
Change it to Trusted zone, it's your own network, right?

For good internet access you should update to ZA 7.0.483.000.
The workaround of setting Internet access to Medium was just a workaround, but with the router in place you should be ok anyway.

This is a users' forum, no ZA techs around.
There's free help available to paying customers (ZA-pro is paid)

Just have your licence key in some text file as you will need to enter it on the form.
