<div align="left">Right, might actually type something this time.
A couple of months back, my free version of ZoneAlarm was in the middle of downloading updates when it froze.
Then I got an annoying popup about how part of it wasn't working.
After about twenty minutes of closing this pop up, I got very frustrated and tried uninstalling ZoneAlarm.
    The uninstaller wouldn't work.
    I then tried Revo Uninstaller.
    This didn't work either.
By this point I was very frustrated and just deleted it.
This is a VERY BAD IDEA!
The program then cut me off from the net completely.
With the help of a friend who knows more about computers then me, we found a forum post and deleted a whole lot of little files in Safe Mode, which the post said would get ZA off the computer.
This has allowed me to get back on the net with a cable, but my Wireless network adapter still will not work.
If I turn it on, it turns off again automatically.
I have tried resetting it, updating drivers, and &quot;Remove Hardware&quot;, so that it is picked up again when I reboot - No joy.
I have considered re-installing ZA, but I'm a bit gunshy now, and don't know if it will fix the problem anyway.
    So, any help, please?<div align="left">
