    Default Cannot configure ZAES - I continue to be blocked

    I've had ZA for more than 6 years and cannot for the life of me understand why ZAES is such a nuisance. It seems to run when it wants to, block me from net access, disregard rules and more. I've had it for sometime and here are the vitals:

    I had even been prevented from coming here! I had to turn off the whole program, just shutting down ForceField is ot enough. I did notice updates had been released though none specific to this version. What is going on? Aside from it being to late for a refund, I'd have dumped it right back in Check Points lap.

    Have all the folks who have/had massive problems such as this been able to fix them? Can one of the GURU's step in here and assist me, without stepping on me? I'm not a braniac on 'puters though I'm no slouch either. Any and all assistance is greatly appreciated and welcomed (before I get threatened with divorce), thank you,

    HI!make be you could be more to the point? I could not really understand the issue... the message was too confused and did not really said what was blockedCan you follow the instruction below to the letter? a. Do NOT disconnect your PC from the net.b. Is your XP update with SP3 and all patches? It is important, otherwise it will not work correctlyc. Are you NOT stuffing your PC with other security tools? Remove themd. Keep your ZA at default settings, Do not alter them1. Download the latest update of ZAon your desktop2. On you current ZA, UNcheck "Load ZA... at startup"3. Reboot your PC4. Install the new update and when requested choose "CLEAN INSTALL". This way you will start fresh with ZA. 5. After reboot go to your ZA antivirus/antispyware tab and "update now". Scan your system.Note for maximum protection turn ON the virtualization in the advanced options of ZA browser security tab. Remember to turn OFF ZA forcefield when you update your browser or the plug ins and to clean the forcefield virtual data from time to time. Note that current forcefield is NOT YET compatible with Firefox 3.5. Stay with 3.1.XNote that you have official free live support by ZA at the link in my signature.And if ZA is such a stress to you may want to consider another tool that you can manage. Cheers,Fax
