Default What a pain installing renewal

I have wasted 6 hours just trying to get this renewal.
I have deleted everything as instructed and still can't load any antivirus. Now it says that i only have a 15 day trial and and i have installed the new code for my one year extension.
I am able to load the spyware update at this time but nothing as far as virus.
Right now i am lucky to even be writing this as this program slowed down my computer by using over 50 percent of the cpu and I had to try and restore which failed, just to try and be able to surf the web..

Have no idea what else to do except trash this program for good and ask for my money back.

    Operating System:Windows XP Pro x64
    Product Name:ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite

<HR></BLOCKQUOTE>In your previous message you inicated that your runing 64-Bit WinXP..CheckPoint Only produces the 32Bit version of Zone Alarm.. So I don't know if that makes a difference..Here is a link to ZoneAlarms Webpage about running 32Bit ZA on a 64Bit Computer..But there is no announced Plans for a 64Bit Zone Alarm..http://www.zonealarm.com/store/conte...ts_xpsp2faq#1212. Is there any limitation to using a 64-bit hardware platform with SP2?
Older versions of ZoneAlarm (5.0 or below) are not compatible with 64-bit hardware running SP2. You must upgrade to ZoneAlarm (version 5.1 or higher).

In combination with running a ZoneAlarm product (version 5.1 or higher) on a computer with a 64-bit CPU, <B class=headblack2>you must also make sure that DEP is set to its default setting, which is "Turn on DEP for essential Windows programs and services only".[/B]

Please see the two screenshots below which show the DEP default setting as well as an indicator if your computer system is a 32-bit or 64-bit system. <B class=headblack2>NOTE: ZoneAlarm currently works only with 32-bit Operating Systems![/B]<TABLE border=0><TBODY><TR><TD>http://download.zonelabs.com/bin/med...een4_small.gif</TD></TR><TR><TD class=body align=middle>Click to enlarge</TD></TR><TR><TD>http://download.zonelabs.com/bin/med...een5_small.gif</TD></TR><TR><TD class=body align=middle>Click to enlarge</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>
