Default Uninstal before upgrade?

7.0.337 is running like a dog especially at startup. This on XP Home. So will try upgrading
Should I uninstall the old before attempting to instal the new?
Would 362 be the right choice, or a later one

By the way, I have zonealarm set take upgrades automatically but it is still on 337, anyone know why it hasn't upgraded automatically?

    Operating System:Windows XP Home Edition
    Software Version:7.0
    Product Name:ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite

The Automatic Program Update function for 7.0.337.000 has been turned off at the Zonelabs Server, to prevent users from upgrading to 7.0.362.000 which has a lot more problems than 7.0.337.000 had..the current ZASS 7.0.408.000 is ONLY available by Manual Download, and has fixed some of the known problems, however a newer Faster ZASS for XP is being Beta tested at this time..I your ZASS 7.0.337.000 is not Corrupted, and your just experiencing Slow Startup and Shutdown..Then you can Use the Simpler Install method..1.) First download the current ZASS Update ZASS 7.0.408.000 from http://download.zonealarm.com/bin/fr...seHistory.html2..) Next go into Overview/Preferences and UN-Check "Load Zone Alarm Security Suit on Start-up"3.) Reboot your Computer to Unload Vsmon.exe and Truevector4.) Turn off any Third Party AV/AS security programs so they don't Conflict with the New ZASS install..5.) Install ZASS 7.0.408.000 (either Clean install or Upgrade Install)6.) Allow ZASS to Install un Default Mode and allow Learning Mode On for a few days7.) don't make any changes to the AV/AS Schedule for a couple of days, or until ZASS completes its on full scan and AV/AS Update..Good Luck.. and Please Post back with your Feedback to this Forum..
