    Default Renewal and license key

    I have the same problem as drhoudini below....... I just renewed my subscription for Internet Security Suite online after receiving a
    startup message
    that it was expiring in 3 days.
    After paying for it and
    installing
    the download, I tried to install the new license key (using the copy and paste method).
    In the License Information/Change Key window, I received the message "Your license key was successfully installed."
    However, beneath the new license key, it says, "This trial expires in 2 days."
    Then, when I close that window and go back to Product Info, the license key has reverted to the old one.

    BUT, under Support and Update Information, it
    says that the "Product update service expires in 367 days."
    I have tried this several times with the same results.
    HELP!

    I saw a similar issue when I installed my renewal license to ZASS 7.0.4xx
    last month - the license
    replied as
    installed, the expiry date went to 365+, but the license key in Product Info was the old one on both machines that I put the 3-user key into..... this changed a few days later (don't remember when)
    to reflect the new license key automatically.
    My guess is that there is some issue with sync of your license with the ZA servers, and then eventually all is well.

    Hi .... Thank you for responding and referring me to that thread.
    I can't explain it, but while I was waiting to hear from the forum, my computer
    locked up
    and I had to shut it down by pressing the power button.
    When I booted it up again, Zone Alarm did not start automatically, so I opened it to see what was going on.
    Lo and behold, the new license key was there and, after I fixed the preferences to load Zone Alarm at start up, everything seemed to be working fine.
    Maybe it IS magic?!
    Anyway, all is well and I'm protected for another year.

    I renewed ZA with (free) upgrade to security suite.
    Have tried to renew license by cut and paste and manually typing the license key numerous times, but each time I just get "invalid license key."
    Is this part of the same
    synchronicity problem with the ZA servers? What gives?
