I have been experiencing the following problem w/ the Cisco VPN client and want to know if there is a solution/workaround available.

I am running ZASS 7.0 (previous versions and latest update have show the symptom) with the "company issued" Cisco VPN client 4.6. The VPN client works fine until it tries to connect and hangs with the message, "Securing communications channel" repeating itself in the status bar of the form.

I imagine it has to do with ZASS blocking certain access to the Cisco VPN client. I have intermittent success when I change the firewall settings for VPN to "Allow uncommon protocols with high security", since my company is using what I surmise is a non-traditional approach to supporting VPN connectivity.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
