Default Full Free Version Installation off-line?

    Hi,
I'd like to install the ZA free version onto my 2nd XP machine.

As it's never been connected to the internet before, it's not had the MS XP updates etc.
    so would
probably be vulnerable online until I get ZA & the updates sorted.
I did hear that an unprotected
machine can be hacked within minutes so, I'd really like to download & install the full application (like I can with my anti-virus software, inc. updates) before connecting to the net.
The (250Kb) .exe that I downloaded appears to be just a loader, requiring internet access to complete.

Is there a full copy elsewhere on the ZA site that I can access & take over on CD?

It seems ironic if you do need to get a machine onto the internet in order to install the software to protect it, with the window of vulnerability.
    Any help would be appreciated,
    thanks,
    Tony

    Operating System:Windows XP Home Edition
    Software Version:
    Product Name:ZoneAlarm (Free)

If the PC is behind a router or a NAT type modem, then it already has inbound protection. Not a problem. If not then just start the Windows XP firewall before installing the ZA. The ZA installation will handle this and turn off the windows firewall after the reboot, when it is finished getting installed. The windows firewall may ask if the ZA is allowed to open an inbound connection - just allow this or reply yes.

Download the ZA free installer from here.
