Thread: Can't install from disk

    Default Can't install from disk

    I purchased Zone Alarm Internet Security Suite 2007.
    When I put the disk in, I can't even get to an install page.
    WHen I open the disk in My Computer, the only folder is "Autoplay"
    The only program that shows up is "OGG Vorbis Audio".
    Is this a bad disk, or is there something else I can do?
    Also, I have to shut down and manually remove the disk from the drive; it won't open otherwise.

    Hi!
    better you return the box to the shop... or if you have the license key in that box just download the latest ZASS version from ZA website and use the key to register....

    Please remove completely any other security tool in your PC before installing ZASS.
    It is usually good also to have a nice cleaning of your system and registry. Ccleaner is free and does a good job (http://www.ccleaner.com/download/bui...wnloading-slim)

    Vankats, questions: trying to install on a Vista pc/ laptop? 32 bit or 64 bit OS? It is advisable to list your Operating system and other security software - next time.<hr>1- have you properly un-installed any previous firewall and/or anti-virus?? = this needs to be done - http://forums.zonelabs.org/zonelabs/...message.id=154
    . Most new pc/laptops come with pre-installed security software, which should be properly un-installed prior to installing any ZoneAlarm firewall product. The use of the Norton Tool does make a difference and should be used. <hr>For XP- click here
