    Default Zone Alarm Pro Updating

I recently upgraded to ZAP version 7.0.462.000,I now seeing behaviour that I've not seen before from ZAP. I have notice at times a deterioration in system performance, which occurs while it appears ZAP is updating itself. A small white arrow apears along side of ZAP and I'm advised that ZAP updae is running, is this normal behaviour from ZAP, as I said previusly i've never notice this happening before I upgraded to version 7.0.462.00.

Also, I don't know if this is related to the upgrade, but since upgradding, Windows update will not work, I get a message saying Windows update has been disabled by your system administrator. However this is a home system and there is no system administrator apart from myself and i didn't disable windows update. For a time Windows Live Mesenger would not run either , but this seems to have resolved itself.

Is anyone aware of any reports of Version 7.0.462.000 interferring with Windows Update.

    Operating System:Windows XP Home Edition
    Software Version:7.0
    Product Name:ZoneAlarm Pro
