I've been using ZASS 6.5.737.000 on my XP machine.
don't want to upgrade to a newer version or reinstall the program at this point because it's been working for me.
My license was about to expire, so
today I entered a new license key from a retail
boxed ZASS 3-user.
did that via
Overview | Product Info | Change Lic.
I got a popup that said "This license key has been successfully installed."
I looked at the information at Overview | Product Info and everything seems to be okay, except that the old key is still showing.
Under Support and Update Information it states "Product update service expires in 366 days, " which is correct.
Under Registration is says "This copy of ZASS was registered on 1/31/2008," which is also correct.
Looking at the information at Antivirus/Antispyware | Main everything looks great.
The date of the last definition update is now showing, instead of the message I got previously which counted down the days until expiration.
In addition to the incorrect license key showing, I get the subscription expiration notice after rebooting ("Your subscription will expire in 0 days".
I hope there's an easy fix for this.
I was not online when I changed the license key.
Would that have anything to do with the problem?
Should I try to put the new key in again while online?
I don't want to somehow use up my 3-user license by typing it again and again!
I also need to update the license for a Vista machine soon.
Thanks for your help!
