After installing 70.462.000 my HP psc 1210 all-in one printer would no longer print graphics.

it will not print a test page or any file except a notepad text page.

I get an error message telling me there was a system error.

I restored my system to before the upgrade to 70 462 000 and the problem went away.

Several days later I installed the 70.470.000 upgrade and the printer stopped again.

I do not know what the conflict is or how to correct it.

I no longer have a restore point that will get me back to the original where my printer will work.

I could reinstall ZA from disk, but would then lose the advantages and security if the upgrades.

What can I do to make my HP psc 1210 all in one printer work with the latest version of ZA.

Before sending this message I tried HP and updated my drivers, it made no change.

Go to the program list in ZA, find the entry for the printer software and delete it. Then try printing again.

I removed both of the HP programs from the program list.
When I print it adds them back to the list and still gives me an error.

Are you connecting via USB, or is it using ethernet?

Go to the logviewer in ZA and see if something is getting blocked at the same time you are printing. Also go to the event viewer in XP and see if something is failing at about the same time as when you are printing. The event viewer is in the Admin tools in XP.

Couldn't find anything blocked near print error times -
    slected logging for everything
Tried to print twice and rechecked
    logs nothing new blocked.

Also checked events in XP nothing blocked.

By the way thank you very much for your help,
I had tried everything I could think of.

This sounds familiar, but I just can't remember the fix. I will think about it tonight, and get back to you in 8 hrs or so.

In the meantime while I wait to see if you or someone remembers something I am going to try going back to 0.337.000

Everything seemed to work wen I was at that version

Let me know if this works. I have more ideas to try if it doesn't.
