Default will a valid serial number always be valid?

If I buy a copy of the Suite in a box from a retail store, but dont activate it for a year, will that serial still work?

Yes, in the current version....No, if they change the licensing system in one year...For example, old ZA 5 key are not anymore valid for version 7.Version 6 keys are still valid for version 7.If you buy a ZA box ensure that the version inside is at least version 7. So, in one year it may still work with a new version....Cheers,Fax

Uuuhm... don't know. What you can do is to run the installer and see which version is... the important thing is that you do not input your key.To be 100% sure you are not wasting your key, just unplug internet. :8}Or may be other users have more info on 2007 version.Cheers,Fax

    Hi newsposter,

Yes, it is. I purchased four German one-year-licenses of ZoneAlarm with Antivirus 2007 for a friend of mine.

    Best regards,

I think the Box Store Bought versions of ZoneAlarm 2007 sold in America contained either of these two versions..7.0.362.000 was released to the public on July 3, 2007. or 7.0.337.000 was released to the public on March 15, 2007.But if the Key has never been used yet, it should work with the same Flavor of ZA 7.0.470.000
However if this is a Multi-user copy, then the Key for all user begins to expire for all users as soon as the first install is registered..--------------------------------------------------------
