I've been a licensed ZoneAlarm user for 4 years now. Two weeks ago, I updated my PC to Vista (I had to, due to work orders). I did *not* de-install my old ZoneLabs product, as the Windows upgrade advisor indicated zero problems with it. (I didn't expect to have to check here prior to a Vista upgrade, sorry)
Today, if I try to download the Vista version of ZAP, it says that
a CheckPoint driver is "incompatiable" and that I should contact Checkpoint. The install won't even start before this pops up.
What can I do, other than ask for a refund? I'm paying for a product that
I cannot use.
I even deleted all the ZoneLabs entries from the registry, still nothing.
But I also run CA's ETMS anti-virus software, as well as an older Cisco VPN product (Both required by my job). After reading the forums here, it appears there are big problems with ZAP interacting with both of these.
