Default Newest update blocks my internet connection!!

I just downloaded the newest version of ZA on my moms computer and now I can't get online even tho the internet
connection is active.
I am also having the exact same problem with my computer at a different residence.
I'm not sure if it is that ZA is blocking me or if there is an interference with XP SP3 (which I also just updated to)
or Groove (part of office 2007).
Everything was running smoothly untill I updated ZA tho which makes be think that it is something with ZA.
I am pretty computer savvy.
I've tried a system restore, re-install (upgrade AND clean) of the updated ZA, reset all the settings to "defalt"...................
I am going to try uninstalling it all together and then rebooting and reinstalling and see if that does the trick.
Or system restore back to yesterday (instead of a few hours ago).
Ahhhhh so frustrating.
I've been trying to solve this problem for a few hours now.
Can anyone help??
Is anyone else having this problem???
Thanks
A

Operating System:Windows XP Home Edition
Software Version:7.0

UPDATE!! Ok, system restore didn't work again, however I did compleatly uninstall ZA, reboot and reinstall ZA, updated definitions and everything seems to be working fine for now.
I'll try this on my computer at home and see if it works as well.
I hope this helps anyone else having the same problem I was having
Cheers

well, I can speak for myself. Updated it without any problem.Do not use the forum to assess if the update is good or not. Users post here when they have problems and not when everything works well http://forum.zonelabs.org/i/smilies/...iley-happy.gifAnd to avoid any problem just do the following:- Download the installer- On your current ZA, Uncheck "Load ZA... at startup" (under ZA Overview --> Preferences tab)- Reboot your PC- Install the new update (upgrade or clean install) Accept the Default settings, Auto-Learn mode, and Choose Trusted Zone and not the Internet Zone..--------------------------------------------------------
