    Default System Frozen

Installed a new version of XP.
Had not installed any updates so I don't have SP2 yet.
Installed Zone Alarm Internet Security Suite 2007.
Upon reboot for the changes to take effect nothing works.
When I click on anything nothing happens.
Even Clt Alt Dlt doesn't work.
Had to reboot in SafeMode and remove the Software.
    What gives ????.

    Operating System:Windows XP Pro

ZASS is designed to work ONLY with XP SP2 and above and therefore
may or may not work with SP1. You should have SP2 (SP3 now) installed before installing SP2.

Sorry for the typo. The previous post should read:

I had to reinstall Windows XP Pro.
When I installed SP2 my CPU Usage stayed up in the 80% range.
I backed out SP2 and the CPU Usage went back to normal.
I picked the ZA Internet Security Suite so I wouldn't have to have SP2 with its Security Center and firewall.
On the outside of the box it does not state that you need SP2.
It says "Windows 2000 / XP / Vista".
I looked at the Readme file on the installation disk and it states that the System requirements are "Microsoft Windows Vista, Home or Professional, 128MB of RAM".
The version of Zone Alarm is 7.1 .
It appears that what I have will not work with XP at all.
Unfortunately I can not return opened software to the retailer I purchased it from.
I am currently in the process of identifying what is causing the high CPU Usage.
Process Explorer has identified the cause as Hardware Interups.
    If I can
get my CPU Usage back to normal I will try installing
the ZA Internet Security Suite again.

You're right, ZoneAlarm versions starting with 7.1... are for Vista only.
