Updated from 70.337.000 to 70.408.000 and now find that KLIF.SYS, FIDBOX.IDX and FIDBOX.DAT are in \windows\system32\drivers. Cannot delete FIDBOX files as 'in use'. I assume, therefore, that part of the antivirus program is activated in the free version (these files are part of the Kaspersky antivirus system which ZoneAlarm uses under licence). I fully accept that, to keep development costs down, ZA will only produce the full product and 'switch off' that to which I am not entitled. Is there anything I can do to stop this ? Is this a known problem ? I have reverted back to 337 for the time being as I use another antivirus program and am concerned that it may clash with ZA and, thus, not be as effective.
Thanks in advance for any responses.
