    Default Windows KB951748 and Linksys

    First I would like to congratulate the fabulous work done by that Microsoft employee who should receice a kings bonus and the royal boot.
    Has anyone encountered problems with Lynksys due to the problem with KB951748? I get a LAN connection but no Internet capabilities.
    OS: XP pro service pack 3AV: NOD 32ZA: Free version 7.0.473.000Linksys : BEFSX41 WIRED

    I have solved the problem.
    1. I re-installed KB951748
    2. Re-booted system
    3. Set ZA to medium setting.
    4. Shut down PC.
    5. Unplugged both modem and Linksys
    6. Re plugged modem waited and my Linksys
    7. Sorted PC.

    I did!
    Aren't we lucky!
    Somehow my Linksys router (BEFSR81 v.3) was reset to factory default settings.
    I have a static IP, so I ended up having set up my router to detect it.
    If I were you I'd double check my router settings.
