You would think I would have learned my lesson by know.
I just built a blazingly fast Vista Ultimate machine and was running ZAISS 7.1 wheni I got the update message.
I stupidly clicked on it.
Now it takes seconds to open up most web sites instead of immediately and CNN.com is a hit and miss.
Most times at CNN I get a page not found error and have to reload it numerous times.
If I shut down 8.0 everything ZOOMS.
I tried uninstalling 8.0 and reverting, but 7.1 would not run.
I tried a system restore, but it did not bring back 7.1.
I hope they fix this quickly as I do not want to use my backup and go through all that trouble.
I have already spent over 4 hours of my time on this BS.
I wonder who tests these software releases.
I know a bunch of Chimps wouldn't release this type of lousy code.
I (think) I have learned my lesson and will hopefully never again be one of the first updaters.ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATEDStu
