Hi there everyone! We need your help urgently! My partner downloaded the new ZA Update V8 last week & since then ZA has stopped working & his internet connection only seems to last for 10 minutes tops before it crashes. Once it does there is no way of getting back online except to restart all over again. We have tried to uninstall through the following ways but with no luck: 1. Programs > Zone Alarm Folder > Uninstall zone alarm security > then the window comes up and when you hit the uninstall , it looks like it is going to uninstall then the following sequence of error messages pops up: **TrueVector Service has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program & notify you if a solution is available.** It takes awhile to cycle through a couple of these identical message boxes & then the error message: **GLB6F93.tmp has stopped working.A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program & notify you if a solution is available.** And then we're back to square one again! 2. Tried to uninstall via the Control Panel with the same messages coming up. 3. Tried to Restore ZA Control Centre via the ZA system tray icon but the icon has disappeared and has not returned!! 4. Tired the above 3 under Safe Mode but still refused to uninstall! And when he tried instead to re-download V7 it comes up with the error message: **you do not have access to make the required system configuration modifications. You need to be signed on as a administrator to make these changes.** He is signed in as the administrator and always has been. Administrator is the only account created. I have already tried to look for truevector under to disable through the control panel and its not there. What's next?? He just wants to rid himself of the ZASS & then reinstall the older V7 but how do we get rid of the existing version? Please help!
