Default Product renewal Installation Problems

I have renewed my license and with that downloaded the update software "zasuiteSetup_en.exe" to my desktop.
When trying to install (download and install) I get the message "Setup could not find 'http://redirect.zonelabs.com/redirect/route?mode=1&app=inclient&date=1&dest= stub&oem=1042 =5 =en&link_id=1'". Could anyone give me some feedback as to what the problem is?
Many thanks

Operating System:Windows XP Home Edition
Software Version:8.0
Product Name:ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite

Thanks GeorgeV. That worked out fine. My original problem of not being able to download the virus definitions have sadly not been alleviated. I checked out the url http://www.zonealarm.com.au/main/kb_...asp?KBID=11433 and one of the suggestions was a clean install. That was a problem too, but that was solved with your advice.
As I said I have been through the measures suggested in the above URL but the programme cannot connect to upd.zonelabs.com.
I tried turning off the firewall completely but still no result. I might add I have been running ZA SecSuite for just under a year and there had never been a problem up until recently.
Any idea where to go next?
Thanks
Isk

The Previous Uninstall instruction should have Removed the Bad install, unless the Downloaded ZASS file was Corrupted..

Please try the Following instruction..

Try a clean unistall of the program then reinstall the program.....

1.) Download a Current Copy of Zone Alarm Security Suite from
ZA website in the release history section.

http://download.zonealarm.com/bin/fr...seHistory.html

2.) Go into ZA Overview/Preferences and Un-Check "Load Zone Alarm on Startup"
3.) Reboot Computer to Remove Zone Alarm drivers from Memory..
4.) Temporarily shut down any other AV/AS Security programs that May Conflict with ZA Install

5..) Click on Start -> Programs -> Zone Labs
RIGHT-click on Uninstall Zone Labs Security, then select Properties.
Under Target you will see the following line (the actual drive may be different on your system):

"C:\Program Files\Zone Labs\ZoneAlarm\zauninstexe"
Change it to:
"C:\Program Files\Zone Labs\ZoneAlarm\zauninst.exe" /clean (add a space and then the /clean)

Click OK to save the new command line.
Click on Start -> Programs -> Zone Labs -> Uninstall Zone Labs Security
Click OK to run the uninstaller, and OK any security alerts that pop up.
say "Yes when being prompted for the removal of all files and allow TrueVector to shut down.
- Reboot

Now Start again in the Safe mode and delete these files in the Windows Directory:

WINDOWS\ Internet Logs

Program Files\Zone Labs

WINDOWS\system32\ Zonelabs

Now Reboot

Using something like this Freeware CCleaner <--- http://www.ccleaner.com/download/bui...wnloading-slim
, will help do the cleanup as well on both the Hard drive and the Registry .

Now Re-install the ZASS program now. and Accept the Default Setting and Choose Trusted Zone and Not the Internet Zone..

Reboot the Computer, make sure that all the entries in ZA Firewall / Zones area are all in the Trusted Zone..

then Try a Maunual Update of the AV/AS..

Good Luck..

My XP SP3 :
ZoneAlarm Security Suite version:8.0.059.000
TrueVector version:8.0.059.000
Driver version:8.0.059.000
Anti-virus engine version:6.0.2.678

Anti-spyware signature DAT file version:01.200810.4776
AntiSpam version:5.0.61.9957
-------------------------------------------------For a smooth update just follow three simple steps

1. UNcheck "Load ZA... at startup" (ZA overview ---> Preferences)
2. Reboot the PC
3. Install the update

The above is not really necessary but it will avoid the system locking any ZA files in case your system is not performing as it should.

Please report back if the upgrade was successful.
