    Default Where is ZA on the latest problems with 8.xxx Update

    First off, Let me apologize, I have tried to post a reply to the original post "Where is
    ZA on the latest problems with ver 8.xxxx" but the reply button is grayed out.

    I thank you all for your responses. I finally bit the bullet and took GeorgeV's advice and followed his directions. It almost worked, I got an installition error saying I had to be the administrator to do the upgrade back to 7.0.483. I went to the Control Panel and removed ver 8.xxx, then tried the installation again, it went flawlessly. Everything is now back to normal(I think). I have two comments, 1. Why can't ZA just post this fix and make life simpler for us all and 2. It will be a long time before I perform another upgrade without visiting this forum and watching for at least 2 weeks.

    Hello,When a new release is available for the product which you are runningZoneAlarm clientwill notify you automatically there is an update. Thats how we notify you when a new release is available. This is the preferred way you should wait to get your new release and not to download manually from the website.Forum Moderator

    I have downloaded my new releases tru the web site and was wondering when the zone alarm client notifies you does it give you the option to save the download to your desk top so you can do a manually clean uninstall before you install it ?
