Thread: system32 opens on startup

    Default system32 opens on startup

    the system32 folder opens now ever since i installed zonealarm. and when zonealarm opens, the main screen shows up but its a blank white screen in the zonealarm window.

    To
    take care of the system 32 folder issue ,The first thing I would do is run System Configuration Utility by clicking Start then Run and typing MSCONFIG and clicking OK.

    In the Startup tab you will find a list of items that fire up when you start your PC. uncheck L:ENG
    click apply and ok and reboot. you will get a box that will pop up, click on the don't show this again box . If that wont take care of the problem try below directions

    Look for anything with a command that includes the System32 folder and try unchecking it. If you have more than one you will want to uncheck them all and the re-check them one at a time and reboot and repeat until you isolate the one that is causing the folder to open.
