    Thanks for the response.
    Licensing Information has my correct license number
    Support and update Information has the correct expiration time.
    The Overview-Product Info screen in the Registration box says "This ccopy of ZoneAlarm Security Suite has not been registered".
    I click on the Change Reg. button, fill out my name and email and click OK.
    Nothing happens, nothing changes.
    I've done this several times.
    No joy.
    Any thoughts?

    <HR></BLOCKQUOTE>http://s118.photobucket.com/albums/o...h_1welcome.gif to the Zone Alarm User Forum..Thank you for your Feedback..On Rare Occations durring an Upgrade, either with ZoneAlarm, or maybe a MicroSoft Update,the Windows Registry gets Corrupted, and will not let you enter your Valid License key..ZoneAlarm Provided a Fix to the Registry, by Removing the Corruted entry and let you Enter your Valid Registration Key..This will Require you to do a Clean Uninstall of ZoneAlarm with the /clean /rmlicese switch, the reboot your computer and re-nstall the new Zonealarm..Try a clean unistall of the program then reinstall the program.....

    1.) Download a Current Copy of Zone Alarm Security Suite from
    ZA website in the release history section.

    2.) Go into ZA Overview/Preferences and Un-Check "Load Zone Alarm on Startup"
    3.) Reboot Computer to Remove Zone Alarm drivers from Memory..
    4.) Temporarily shut down any other AV/AS Security programs that May Conflict with ZA Install


    5..) Click on Start -&gt; Programs -&gt; Zone Labs
    RIGHT-click on Uninstall Zone Labs Security, then select Properties.
    Under Target you will see the following line (the actual drive may be different on your system):
    "C:\Program Files\Zone Labs\ZoneAlarm\zauninstexe"
    Change it to:
    "C:\Program Files\Zone Labs\ZoneAlarm\zauninst.exe" /clean /rmlicense (add a space and then the /clean)
    Click OK to save the new command line.
    Click on Start -&gt; Programs -&gt; Zone Labs -&gt; Uninstall Zone Labs Security
    Click OK to run the uninstaller, and OK any security alerts that pop up.
    say "Yes when being prompted for the removal of all files and allow TrueVector to shut down.
    - Reboot

    Now Start again in the Safe mode and delete these files in the Windows Directory:

    WINDOWS\ Internet Logs

    Program Files\Zone Labs

    WINDOWS\system32\ Zonelabs

    Now Reboot

    Using something like this Freeware CCleaner &lt;--- http://www.ccleaner.com/download/bui...wnloading-slim
    , will help do the cleanup as well on both the Hard drive and the Registry .


    Now Re-install the ZA program now. Accept the default settings and Choose Trusted Zone for the firewall Zones Area..Reboot Computer and Manually Update AV/As and Enter your Valid License Key..Good Luck..--------------------------------------------------------

    Thanks for the reply and advice.
    But, before I go through that clean and reinstall drill, I'm just wondering if not being registered makes any difference.
    My license is good, I can download AV and Spyware updates, and ZASS seems to be working as it should.
    So, what do I gain by registering?
    Is there a time bomb ticking away?
    My thought is that I don't really gain anything useful.
    If that's the case, why bother?
    Your thoughts please.
