Default Safe for ZA 8.0 AND XP SP3 Install?

Recently returned after 2 months away from home resolving an estate.

Concern about whether it is now safe to upgrade to XP3 service pack --ANDwhether ZA has resolved issues with new ZA 8.0.xxx?
Needed laptop accessduring trip away, so leary of making any changes (e.g. ZA 8.0 and XP3).
Currently Wife andI have (1) PC and (2) laptops running XP w/SP2 and (1) PC with Vista Home Premium.
Allrunning licensed copies of ZA Internet Suite.
What is the collective wisdom ?

1.) If all of your WinXP Computers are Relitive problem Free and you have at least Windows SP2 and Free of Malware.. and Have Lots of FREE Hard drive Space for New files and Optimization of the hard drive..then it should be Safeto Update to Service Pack 3 and a dozen other Windows Security or Critical Updates released since ServicePack 3 was released..2.) I would Recomend doing a Complete Hard drive Backup First before installing SP3, just to be on the safe side..3.) then after Installing SP3 and other Windows Updates I would Upgrade ZoneAlarm to 8.0.059.000ZoneAlarm Security Suite version:8.0.059.000
