    Default Shutdown problems after intall Zone Alarm Security Suite

    I have removed the previous Security Suite frm Mcaffee with their removal tool. I then installed Zone Alarm Security Suite. Before doing so my computer would shut down in about 10 seconds, now it takes about 10 minutes, if at all. I have tries doing a "clean" uninstall and then re install and have still got the problem. So i am now using AVG 8, with no problems. Could somebody give me a fix for this problem please?

    Operating System:Windows XP Home Edition
    Software Version:8.0
    Product Name:ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite

    Hi!which version of ZASS were you installing? Double check is NOT 8.0.020.000Note that any security tool must removed not just disabled before install ZASS. Cheers,Fax

    I downloaded a newer version and it now shuts down correctly, however reading other posts it seems even this version is buggy?

    Please Right Click on the ZA Tray icon on the Lower Right and Click the "About" Option this will pop up a windows with all the Info about your Version Of ZA including the complete Version Number.. Click the "Copy to Clipboard" and Paste that information Here in the Forum by pressing the "CTRL-V" key..

    I used the correct McAffee removal tool. I have solved my problem as I explained in my earlier post, by downloading a later version. It now shuts down as it should. Thank you for your reply!
