Cannot Parse XML File - A quick Fix?
I'm running ZAISS on my Dell Precision M6300 laptop (OS - XP Home edition, Office 7) and I've just downloaded the latest update (V.8).
When I try to update virus and spyware it gives a Spyware error message
saying 'Cannot Parse XML File 'C:\etc, etc\...Zonealarm.xm' This is very frustrating. It seems everytime there's a major update there's some form of problem on one of my 2 PCs or laptop!
I've run a virus/ spyware scan to see if that would solve the problem, but no dice. Is there a quick fix for this? I am literally about to leave and go travelling on business for the next week or so and I really do not have the time to play about uninstalling, reinstalling, etc, etc.. (especially as, in my experience, a ZAISS install problerm tends to stick - for instance a
previous problem on
one of my
PCs, lost me over a one weeks worth of hours doing complete uninstalls and reinstalls that didn't work (following everyone's instructions to the letter)
- in the end I had to have the HDD wiped and re-installed to sort out the problem...)
