Lately I've been getting
a LOT of "Server Permission" popups (the light purple one) for "Generic Host Process for Win32 Services."
No matter what I do, I cannot get this to stop happening.
I've tried checking the "remember" box and hitting both "Allow" and "Deny."
I've gone into the ZASS "Programs" page and manually changing the question mark to both an X and a check (at which point I get a warning from ZASS about changing this from "System."
I've changed it back and forth from "Custom" to "System" at various points.
In EVERY situation, it still pops up and asks me for Server Permission all the time.
Note that this is not a "changed program" alert -- it is the regular Server Permission alert.
In other words, ZASS refuses to "remember" my setting for this particular file.
I'm seeing this on 4 different systems now, and it has gotten more frequent on ALL of them recently.
I've read over the forums and found a lot of talk about svchost.exe, including the exact same complaint, but other than suggestions to set with 3 checks and a red X for "Internet > Server" (which I've tried -- numerous times), the posts I've read have not addressed the constant re-popping up of the same question regardless of the fact that ZASS should be "remembering" the setting.
I'm running ZASS 7.0.483 on XP SP2 on all 4 systems.
Thanks for any feedback on this,
