    Default Screen Saver Help

I know it is a small issue, but I can not get my screen savers to activate. I recently upgraded my ZA ISS to 8.0.059 when I noticed the issue. I have deleted backup & iamdb.rdb, done a clean install and even went back to 7.0.483. The screen savers that have been selected are listed in Program Control\Programs, custom, with 3 greens, allow on trusted access, ask on the Internet access & trusted server, deny on Internet server & email. I have deleted them from here & allowed ZA to reconfigure when selected again - no change. Are there other files or reg items that the install process uses/sees that I need to delete? I am running XP Pro SP3.

    Thanks,

    Operating System:
    Windows XP Pro
    Software Version:
    8.0
    Product Name:
    ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite

You may have a Corrupted or Bad install..1.) try a Reset of the ZA Database first.. if that does not work, the try option # 2..ZA has incorparated a new way to Reset DataBase files so users don't need to go into Safe mode.

To repair this problem, please follow the steps below. Please note that
this will remove your program permission settings (so you may want to make
note of them), but re-establishing them is a simple process.

1.) Hold down the Ctrl and Shift keys together
2.) Right click on the ZA icon near your clock in the system tray lower right corner
3.) Choose 'Reset' from the box that comes up
4.) Choose Yes on the Reset Settings dialog box
5.) When prompted, choose OK to restart your system
6.) Follow the on screen configuration prompts after reboot

    George / All,

After completing Option #2 to no avail, I thought I would share my trials. After looking back to what has been updated recently, doing uninstalls & re-installs, I got to to an upgraded driver for my video card, there appears to be issues with nVidia drivers in XP Pro SP3 & screen savers / power management functions.

Thanks again for the suggestions George!
