    Default Help will not update

    Bought the 2009 version and downloaded via CD enclosed.
    ZA tells me an UPDATE is available
    via a little box.
    I click on it and asap Upon trying to UPDATE
    the screen tries to go to my YAHOO browser and gets that screen for a MOMENT in TIME; however as soon as it does it hits a
    "UNABLE TO NAVIGATE message" and asap returns to the original FULL
    ZA PROGRAM type launch BOX.
    I am running **bleep** Virus system and I disconnected that to see if there was interference - and same darn thing happened.
    Appreciate any advice

    5.)- have you properly un-installed any previous firewall and/or anti-virus?? = this needs to be done - http://forums.zonelabs.org/zonelabs/...message.id=154. Most new pc/laptops come with pre-installed security software, which should be properly un-installed prior to installing any ZoneAlarm firewall product. <HR>

    Just One, Not Two -- Never use two software Firewalls at the same time. <HR>Just One, Not Two -- Never use two anti-virus products at the same time.

    Did everything you suggested - one-by-one.
    Un-installed BOTH ZA and the &quot;BLEEP&quot; S/W Virus dealie.
    Full Un-Installs.
    Then TRIED to load both your VIRUS and YOUR ZA to no avail - first time my computer will not download from the INTERNET on three different browsers -
    Yahoo - Explorer latest- and Mozilla Firefox
    Could NOT download a thing kept getting that quick screen to YAHOO (I think?) then the NON-NAGAGATIBLE quickie blue screen and then ASAP back to the originaldesktop screen.
    By the way I turned off everything in the security screen - firewall - virus - automatic updates - totally.

    After an hour or so plus:
    Then I decided to REPROTECT my computer and
    reinstalled from the ZA disk and re-installed &quot;Bleep&quot; because recently I spent a few bucks repairing the computer when the prior &quot;BLEEP&quot; viruse S/Wdid NOT stop a deadly virus from really wiping out my computer via NOT even BOOTING UP called &quot;AVG&quot; - that might protect my fellow folks out there from getting burned - I'd BUY your VIRUS S/W in a MOMENT if I could LOAD the darn thing via my incompatible system right now. My current &quot;BLEEP&quot; Virus S/W is just in the trial stage.
    I paid big bucks for the AVG which did not work because it allowed a virus to REWRITE my INITIALIZATION program at the start.
    No matter -
    It cost me a few hours tonight but thanks anyway I guess I'll contact support via the phone lines maybe in the next few days.
    Appreciate your time and trouble - I guess I have a STRANGE issue with your website on three of my browsers.

    Sorry to hear your having a Problem..1.) the Usuall Cause for problems like your is..a.) bad or Corrupted Download..b.) other Overlaping Security Programs Blocking or conflicting with the ZA Install..c.) Malware or Virus Infection Blocling the Install of Security Software..d.)
